Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced School Psychologist to join our team for the 2024-2025 school year in Selbyville, DE. This full-time position involves providing a range of psychological services to support the mental health and educational development of students.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations to determine students' needs.
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and 504 plans.
- Provide individual and group counseling to students.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop strategies and interventions to support student learning and mental health.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student progress and provide recommendations.
- Conduct crisis intervention and provide support during emergencies.
- Maintain accurate and confidential student records.
Qualifications:
- Valid state certification or licensure as a School Psychologist.
- Experience working in a school setting preferred.
- Strong understanding of psychological assessment tools and techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
- Commitment to promoting the mental health and educational success of students.
